2012 Apex 2012 nytro xtx 2006 attak
Just purchase a 2006 attak. In the frequent asks question post it list a 2007 service manual download can I use that for my 2006?

Is there any site that offers better exhauste donuts rather than oem? Offers stainless y -pipes ?

Here is a apex service manual that you can download. Its the one I use.Yamaha sells stainless Y pipes and here are many different donut suppliers and I don't know which one is best sorry

Other y pipe aftermarket as well. Excell, hauk, bender, to name a few.

Heres another question looking at after market y-pipes there claiming a gain in horsepower 3-5 is this BS? Am I better off just purchasing oem y-pipes call it good?

I'll be working on a fully polished stainless kit for the Apex's over the summer, no donuts and no flex couplers. All turbo couplers and v-band or slip joint connections. I
only had time to get the Nytro system into production this fall, and just now getting it released. Check out my vendor section (Heartland Rod and Custom) for some pics of what that system looks like. The Apex's will have the same construction, and will be boost friendly... (wideband bungs installed, and future rear turbo options.)
The factory Apex headers are titanium, but most if not all the aftermarket is stainless. Excell makes a great header for the Apex if you're in need real soon. I'd give Ulmer Racing a call if so. It does use the donuts though, but also gives a performance boost.

I just got the excells, nice looking pieces. $518 a pair, shipped to door. I have found OEM s.s. new styles for $148 each + shipping. So there is a $200 difference. Another nice thing on the Excell's is that the rear of the header is nurrled in for easier installation.

How long for your production of the pipes? What is the price going to be?
I am not in a big hurry but I will doing all the mods during the summer months into fall.

The complete Nytro kit, which completely replaces the factory system,(goes all the way to the motor) with the tunnel block off plate and all necessary hardware will run $925 for TY members. I would expect the Apex system to be in the same range, but we wont be starting that until the end of next month. If production goes like I'd hope it does, I want them available by Haydays.
The goal of our systems is to make a long lasting design that eliminates the troublesome issues we all face, without being too loud and still add a performance gain. The systems we have out in testing now have seen a noticeable increase in mid and top end power and one person noted a 3-4 mph gain in top end. We havent seen a definite need for a programmer yet, as none have shown signs of being lean at WOT. We'll compile more data and keep everyone updated.
We're taking orders on the Nytro system now, but theyre still a few weeks out for the production run tio be finished at best.
We're only ordering 40 sets at a time, and until the units are ready to ship, we're only extending the offer of a deposit to secure a system. With the time it takes to get them built, I don't see the possibility of getting more than that number in a season until we start building them in-house.

Ok thanks for the info.

Here is the thread with a few pictures of the system. We're confident that we've built a piece that will last the life of the machine, be the most complete system on the market, and at a very competitive price.
We have a few videos now, and will be posting them shortly. They were taken by the member who is testing the system, and we've given the green light to post whatever he has taken so far along with his comments. Stay tuned..
