My stock primary on my '06 Vector GT is shot. Instead of rebuilding it, I was looking at putting a low mileage used primary on. What years and models (Vector, Apex, etc) would be a direct bolt on replacement without changing weights and springs? I want the same stock clutch setup as I currently have.
Thanks!! Mike

All will fit, but they may have different diameter rollers, primary spring and weight arms. I guess all Vector clutces is pretty much the same, the Venture would be different and the Bad Boy Nitro will also be different.

A primary clutch from any of the 3 and 4 cylinder 4strokes will do. Move over rollers (change bushings if needed), buy a new primary spring to replace the old stock one, inspect the stock weight arms - if good replace bushings at the pin hole.

If you have to go why not pull the primary and rebuid it it wil save you the price of the 2nd clutch

A rebuild will not take care for worn out clutch faces I would assume.... hahaha I'm speculating here :-)

Yeah, unfortunately the clutch faces are dished and grooved really bad with only 5000 mles on it. Thanks for the reply. This will help.
