Looking to purchase a shop manual for a 2006 vector so I can replace the chain tensioner

I have read that yamaha will cover the repair , does not matter if its under warranty or not. Thier is a bulletin on this matter

I had mine go about 3 weeks ago. Destroyed the whole motor. Only thing good is the block. I had 2 weeks left on warranty. Dealer said yamaha is not covering this unless it is under warranty unless they make it a recall. Service bullitain does not mean they have to cover it. If you bring it in and it sounds loud they will replace.

I contacted my dealer in Canada and they told that they do not even have a bulletin on it. My engine is noisey but might be because of exhaust donuts. I did remove the clutch and it did not make a difference. I would like to do the tensioner while I do the donuts and then not have to worry about it everytime I ride it. Mike
