2007 350 kodiak

just bought a new kodiak 350 i only have 30 klms on it so far. Ive notcied that when i put it in reverse that it sputters and i think small back fires.
any ideas

whats rev limiters for could this be it

ive never owned a quad before so this is all new to me

Could be the rev limiter. When does it do it? Right from the start or after you get going a little. If it's after you are moving I would bet it the rev limiter.

The rev limiter should be kicking in around 11 mph + or- a few

nope not the rev limiter and its not the overide and it only happenes in reverse

There is a rev limiter on your reverse to prevent you from backing up to fast.
