The dealer says they have to test and possibly replace my micro switch for the TORS - to finally solve my TORS constantly coming on.
I went for 3 hour trail ride on Sunday and it came on about 25 times.
( code 84 & engine light & warning light )
I have two questions for you pros out there:
The Dealer said my sled ( bought it used this year with very low mileage )
seems like it sat around somewhere for a while and has some corrosion here and there on it.
#1
Could corrosion cause the switch to be faulty, and have to be replaced..?
#2
How much is the micro switch and the labour to install..?
Are we talking major $$$ ...or minor..
Thanks in Advance!!

If the sled was left out in the rain all summer, you could have switch problems. And even some dealers are stupid enough to do this to us. If it was recently left out in the freezing rain, you definetely could have set up the conditions for it to freeze up. Powder riding can also get moisture on/near the switch.
Should not be too bad $ wise. Isn't it still on waranty?
