Heated seat
I am buying a 2007 Attak on Wednesday. It is a couple hours north of me and I have not seen it yet other than pics. I am picking it up on my way to the U.P. for a 4 day trip. I asked the seller if it had a heated shield port. He did not know but thought so. I know they put them on the 2011 Apex but not sure when they started doing it. I could take a harness with me and wire it up when I get there.
Thanks,
Thanks,
07 didn't have a port specifically for a visor. There is a port for a GPS or other . Yamaha makes an adapter to go from the plug in the dash to a visor plug. So if you don't have the adapter I would say wire it up when you get there. If you take an inline fuse with you, you could wire it temporarily to the power wire above the oil tank until you get home. Then you don't have to tear it apart to get to the battery.

Oddly I hooked mine up from the jumper tabs coming from the battery. Total bitch coming off the battery itself but the jumper cables are easy to get at. Just a thought

They did not come factory with a heated shield outlet.
You could use an adapter from the 12volt port on the dash cover or better yet remove the panel and tap into the wires that go to the adapter.
