2007 Phazer MTX hard starting when hot

Yes it did go from 1000 rpm to 1350. That's maximum.

I had this problem and everytime my idle would go low when engine was hot, I had lots of water/moisture in the airbox. Dried out the airbox and idle went back up. Three times consistently this worked for me...?

I ride a turbo. No air box.
