It seems like you have to crank on it way to long to get it started when hot. It has the 8GP-10 ECU. Any ideas?
Thanks

Do you mean after you have run it, shut it off, and go back to start it 10-15 min later?

Yes, you don't even have to wait that long. It kind of helps to open the throttle a little, but that still doesn't make a huge difference.

What are you idle rpm's?

I have noticed that mine does that as well. I just determined/assumed it was that once I stopped, the heat from the engine heat soaked the intake air temp sensor causing it to read a higher temp and therefore not give enough fuel to want to start. I remedy by giving it throttle while starting and holding a high idle for 5-10 seconds. Determined/assumed this cooled off the temp sensor and seemed to run fine after that.

I'm thinking the RPM is around 1000 or so, not exactly sure what it is off hand.
I talked to my dealer about updates for the 2007 phazer, and he did say something about an air sensor problem with that year. There internet was down so they couldn't dig into it for me. I'm going to check with them next week.

The idle RPM should be around 1800, I have found that when my rpm's are low it is hard to start when warm.
If your RPM is 1000 when warm try bringing it up to 1750-1850.

In the trailer with the red light off it's running 2700 rpm. I adjusted idle to 1850 rpm
Thanks

Wait past the red light turning off, it is only really warm when the idle drops down.
Warm it up last the light until the rpms drop down and see what it idles at.

Yes the Phaser is a warm blooded creature. Even after the warm up light goes off it will normally take a couple/ few more minutes at high idle and a couple of throttle blips to bring down the rpm's. That's the way the wife's likes it.Wait past the red light turning off, it is only really warm when the idle drops down.

I tried to adjust the idle on my Phazer turbo, but can't reach more then 1350 when it's (really) hot. Idle adjustment screw is al the way in.
What more to do to get idle higher?

There is probably something else going on, should not be difficult to achieve the rpm.

I would look into things that were changed to get a turbo in there, I am not overly familiar with turbo systems. Does it respond at all to any changes to the idle screw?
