I just picked up a new 07 Phazer in the crate, for the wife. It won't see alot of miles, but I am curious what areas should I be looking to inspect, first year problems to address, or updates to do before it hits the snow.
Any advice or shared experience would be appreciated.

Have the dealer do all of the updates on it before you take it home. They will probably do everything but the rear link. You may have to wait untill it fails. If it does.

Just wondering what are all the updates? Am looking at an '07 GT for my daughter and would like to make sure I avoid any headaches. Thanks
Bolts loose in spindles, engine mounts(I would loctite and torque ALL bolts)
Steering Update(prevents steering freezing up)
Steering update also does filter clips and some other things.
Other updates are only if you have a issue but include
Suspension Linkage
Starter
Reverse engagement
Cold Start
To me most GT owners seem very happy and have had less issues than the rest of us.Just talk to your dealer about the Service Bulletins/recalls.He may have done them already to your sled.
