What Mulderdad said...Huntsville sounds great to me!

if thats the case, we could just start out of my back yard trail

A few of us are heading north in Feb. Guess we'll try and do a few trips this season. Lets hope for mega snow :flag:

I would be interested in a ontario ride, however ive rode the huntsville area before and hate it! its too tight and twisty if u guys want a good ride i woyuld recoment north of northbay at least i am from 2 hrs south of toronto and i usually do a trip to timmins and surrounding area its the $hit espessially for big groups i would be in for something like that and so would my yamabuddies like they said b4 its only driving and TRUST me its worth the extra hours drive!

420, I am only an hour south of you. would really like to try Ontario. never gone before. I'll try to make this ride when ya decide dates an such! Honk

you will love it hear i do a week every year to northern ontario it is truley AMAZING the trails are generally better than the highways you drive to get to the trails!! but it usually requires 1 day to drive each way, we leave about 3am to get through Toronto is the big thing, it usually puts u there (south porcupine\timmins) just after lunch so you can still ride a bit. if you were interested in like a weekend trip i would recomend "distric 9" whitch is maby 2 hour drive from where i am and its decent riding (mainly feilds) thats where we go and "practice" for our trip north but for a big trip with a bunch of guys to truley experince ON go way north and i will be there!! p.s anyone thinking of riding "district 9" on a weekend lemme know and im sure me and my yamabuddies will ride with you

420 ,I will keep watchin the posts, and try and do at least one ride in the great white north! I am just south of the border. Lookin forward to ridin!! Honk

Once we decide where we are going we should look at booking something.
That way we can start to get some hard numbers on how many sledders will attend.
Looking forward to it....

Hey guys, gettin snow soon! How bout some dates for the TY Ontario ride. 420 you taken this? Thanks . Honk

Yeah lets make this happen boys. It would be great to meet some of you fellow tyers.

Hey Dano...since you have a place in the area could you suggest a couple of lodges?

Places I have stayed on trips to Huntsville before were the Colonial Bay Cottage Resort, and the big Holiday Inn(not sure if its still a Holiday Inn). We also stayed one year at the Ox Narrows(I forget the name of the town but it was somewhat close to Dorset). Last year we cancelled our trip to the Blue Spruce Resort (no snow) and ended up going to a place you suggested (the Highwayman Inn in Barrie/Orillia area--which was great) later in the year.

If the TY ride ends up happening in the Huntsville area...it will be good for us to start booking...and we will know where everyone is as well.

Snow is here! Anybody in Ont. gonna jump in to host this ride? Would love to do some riding. Never been up there before. So what do ya say GUYS?? Anyone?---?Hope so!
