All, just switched from Polaris/Cat to Yamaha 4stroke and love it. Still working on my suspension set up though. Trying to get used to the new riding position but can't keep my inner ski down in the turns. I've added more pressure to m fox float shocks and softened the spring pressure in the back....next step is to pull up the limiter strap one setting (only looks like there is one extra set of holes). Any suggestions? I've seen a lot on replacing ski's/wear bars but that seems to be focused on darting vice keeping the ski's flat.

That's kinda what I figured, just a different riding style than my Polaris. I was looking at my limiter strap, more settings than I first thought so I think I'll pull that up one setting to get more pressure on the ski's....fun sled to ride, just wish the snow wasn't melting so fast! Next step is new ski's...any recommendations?

I like the Pilots but they do push a little in loose snow. You can also put the spindle spacers all to the outside making frontend wider.Helps inside ski lift.Run you floats as low as you can without bottoming.

I have a set of C&A pros. I believe they are the xt model which are about 8 inches wide. Great in powder and most trail condition but when it gets really hard packed they get a little to aggesive. I'm really happy with them.

I was looking into the moving the spindle spacers but it looked like the rubber snubbers on the ski wouldn't be aligned w/ the spindle correctly if you did that. Also when you said to move them to the "outside" did you mean inside? It looked like if I put the outside spacer on the inside it would make the stance wider by moving the ski out? Thanks all for the good inputs, I think my first 2 priorities will be new track and new ski's....feels like the 1" track isn't using all of the torque the engine has.
