2008 Venture lite 500 mouse nest in airbox, chewed the foam completely

I did a super stupid, i started the sled 1st of the season, (fresh gas) without checking the airbox, it ran ok for 5 min then when i gave a bit of gas she stalled and now will turn over and almost start but never catches to run.. I found a huge mouse nest in the airbox, removed it and all the chewed foam bits and same symptom, she cranks, slowly, then always faster until the headlight comes on and shes almost running.. this is with the throttle full on (turns over faster that way) but she never catches and runs.. pls help.. flooded? new plugs (big job looks like..) Thanks guys.. i promise to never be this stupid again lol

If the air box had a nest, is the exhaust full too?

You may have to pull throttle bodies and give them a good cleaning and be you dont have stuff packed into every nook and cranny.

For sure. Don't let those little bastards win!! lol I had my share of issues with mice and now my buildings are kill zones..

Is it a big deal to get at & clean the throttle bodies? i already ordered new spark plugs and the job does not look like fun anyone point me to a good vid of how to do this?
