2009 Big Moose Shoot Out

I wouldn't worry about Big Moose being crowded. My camp is there and the amount of sleds around on saturdays is nothing compared to what it used to be. I haven't been able to buy a race there this year.

It seem's like it been that way all season, we're coming up this Thursday and staying until Sunday probably be up Big Moose on Saturday to play around a little. If your up we'll try to catch up with you . Will definatly be in the Glenmore.
AJ just bought A shock -wave and going to play with that a little. ;)!

Wayne, Hope you can make next week, if anything just to have a beer or 12 :drink:

O.K. I just read the last 10 pages and now I'm fired up!!! I am going to make it one way or another. Girlfriend is going to be pissed! I may need to find a new one up at the Glenmore. Think one of those young hot bartenders will take me :) 42 year old man with XXl Shirt size...lol

Headed for Florida in the morning to get the golf game back into shape. Be back next Thursday and be up in O.F. on Saturday morning. See you guys then.

Just spoke the the wolfe pack and they are returning again this year to defend their 1st and 3rd place finish last year. Get your diet going boys for landon will be piloting again!!!. Great to see every one return from last year.
 
That is great news! I have been training my 8 yr old son, Sean, since last year behind his Mothers back. He's good for about 330 HP I figure... Might have to put wooden blocks on the running boards but the duct tape will keep his hands on the grips!

Slickers.... we will be out of the area before they open. I spoke to them last year and they could have cared less what any one does.

Bobd1950, last year you climbed all over this event saying all sorts about liability issues and all, Please don't be involved if that is going to be the attitude again.

I understand last year was in the past.
But please join us if I am wrong on the outlook you have. But do speak up before hand and don't wait for it to be done and over before saying negative things.

BTW..last year i was at the finish(?) taking tons of pics and waving off civilians. Just like we did in 1980 ..not much has changed. but..

BTW ..wait till u see the '10 APEX replacments..(hp..hp..hp).. might have to get me one.
 
we are going to bring one and I think a few others are as well.

Up on big moose yesterday and its not looking good for racing. All fluff, no hardpack any where!! probably be on 4th lake again. There were a few fast spots but after the weekend with all the traffic it will get better.

Really the best spot would be 3rd lake best hard pack track now,

For otis and teds and any one else with a drag sled, No one has plowed track and can't get any one to plow a track, unless you bring up something to do it.

If you do, I will be in old forge wens. night through. I can help set up a track if you want.
 
Got a week to go yet - maybe Big Moose will be packed down by then.

Hmm - 2-3 rd lake? I'll like to see the speed track guys do the open water trick ;)!

If you need any help I'll be up Thursday night - give me a shout :flag:
