2009 Bruin 350 4x4

[Yamahalic Bruin]

My bruin has 460km on it and runs great, its a on command 2x4 to 4x4. i was moving some heavy things around the yard, all four wheels function properly until I get stuck. three wheels turn and one does not. afterwards its fine when I take the trailer off. Is there a way i can give that fourth wheel the same torque as the other three so it doesnt stop? its just that same wheel that stops at any time of stress on it. or can a differential lock be installed like the kodiak on command 2x4 to 4x4?.

Unfortunitly the bruin does not have a diff lock like the kodiak and grizz. I think the rear is always locked so they both spin but the front can spin one and not the other. When you lock the front diff on a grizzly it becomes very difficult to steer but all four spin together. For safety reasons Yamaha installed a rev limit that kicks in when the differentials are locked (can be bypassed). The bruin also only has fwd, ntrl and rev with no low. It may be geared lower to compensate for the lack of a low gear but with the small engine I wouldn't think it has much pulling power compared to a kodiak or grizzly. I'm not sure if a kodiak front diff would fit into a bruin. You would have two make sure the gearing and axles are the same. It sounds like the bruin just isn't what you need and you may want to consider upgrading to a 450 kodiak or a new grizzly

like grizztracks said, it is normal for that bike. mine is the same way as it is made like the old 90's big bears. would have loved mine with the unlocking 4x4 and diff loc in the front. cannot even buy a warn 424 for my bike officially.

Yeah thats what i thought, i will think of something to do. If i figure anything out i will post again, but most likely just use it as is.
