2010 AK sled projects

I bought a 153 M suspension and crossfire rails separately. So unless the mounting positions on the rails are different I should be ok. I'll send a PM shortly.

Finally rode today and everything worked great. Just need to tighten up the track and swap stiffer springs on the rear shocks.

Well this nypex is taking forever to say the least. Seems like im fabbing up something or waiting on another thing. Heres a couple pics for the curious.

It not only has under board coolers but also a nose radiator, not something you see everyday.

Turbo fits a little different for the apex setup so some trimming had to be done.

Still waiting on some copper donuts, fuel pickup stuff and some other odds and ends and should be ready to go. Cant wait to ride it, seems like that day cant come soon enough.

Hyflyr:

I thought about the nose cooler using motocross coolers, but they use 3/4" hose, not 1" like on nytro and never went much further. Where is the cooler from? I am assuming it didn't come with the Nypex kit.

It would help lowering the CG,and there is alot of space down there...kinda..

OTM

It's actually out of the apex, it's the lower right hand cooler above the footwell. And your right, there is actually a lot of room for hoses and rad, although it has to be mounted a little crooked to fit correctly bu that's alright.

Looking good. I have a couple new 1" plastic 90's I bought from Home Depot if you need any for the cooling. I didn't end up using them on mine.

Couple more pics. Sled is up and running! Should have it out again this weekend. Went out for a short shake down run last week but visibility was next to nothing so didnt get to do much. Cant wait to see what it will really do.

About time :pics:

I'm not sure that after monday I can ride with you or Mike again. There may have been technicalities on monday, but I don't think I'll be able to ride with you guy's and say I had the most power again. :jump:

Looks good!
