Had some good fun this past weekend with good results Raced against:
06 and 08? Two 900 fusion poos. Picks, clutched, rejetted
2010 F8 Cat Pics, Stock?
new 2011 Nitro XTX (500 miles) stock
My Apex LTX GT 108 pics down center

trails conditions were mealy with 3 in of soft snow
Rolling start at 20 MPH
Walked away from poos and XTX easly.
Cat jumped me then realed him in and went by around 85 on speedo
dead stop/Start
All jumped out ahead but passed Poos at 60, XTX at 90. and Cat ran out ahead and was harder to catch but caught him at the end.

trails hard, set up and with Ice conditions
Stop/start all pulled me bad and took a long time to catch
We noticed who ever was in left lane always was faster( more traction)
Rolling start same results.
I was constantly 10 miles slower on speedo meter all day?

My apex had way to much front pressure all weekend, Never fought with a sled to get to go around corners and darting so hard. Arms a really tired today. Added 6 in shaper bars and should of losened my limiter strap and took preload off front. Will happen today for sure. After that maybe add some weight tranfer to help with traction.

If you are running 6" dullies, them along will slow your top speed down some, dont know for sure how much but a couple i would bet. Good luck and keep up the fast running.. :exc:

MM, No, I am running single 6" shaper bars. Thanks for the comment. I think it's the differance was in trail conditions between Sat and sun as far as speed.
Handleing is my big issue. the shaper bars are real aggresive so I needed to change my front end weight from the stock bars. I think once I get less ski pressure and better transfer I will hook up better.

I run the shaper bars and both of my rx1's backed off the preload on the skies and then loosened up on the transer to allow it to transfer more, also shimmed the skies and i'm in love. They handle so much better then stock just with minor improvements.
