2010 mtx skid

i was looking at the new mtx skid and i got thinking if you were to take the limiter strap off the back would the new skid be non coupled?

It's not a coupled skid, it's more like the old mountain max skid without the transfer rods. You can make it a coupled skid by bolting the optional blocks to the rails behind the rear lower arm, look at the phazer mtx skid or even the rtx skid.
