I started up my Nytro ..preseason and checking everything out have noticed my left handwarmer isnt working...wondering if anyone else has this problem and what the fix could be ...thanks
Burnt out element. R&R with a new one....

if your carefull you can get it off without wrecking it. heat it up really good with a heat gun or hair dryer to release the glue, put on a leather glove and slide it off...after you drill out the two rivets that hold it in. then take a utility or other sharp knife and scrape off the element. take emery cloth or very aggressive sand paper and get rid of all remaining foamy stuff left by the element. when putting the new element back on make sure your rivet holes are lined up, because taking the grip off after saying "oh crap" is almost impossible.

I would get the replacement RSI kit from Yamaha and get the RSI gel grips also, by the time you get done dicking around with trying not to mess up the one grip you will have both done. The gel grips are sooooo much nicer then the stock ones too

Dont know yet as i installed them this summer but i wouldnt think so. I have rocks yamaheater with boost so either way im covered! So much more comfortable though, well see how long they last......
Rock told me the rsi heaters are a lotter then then then oem.
