those numbers are the prices of sleds by 2012.
7791K = $7,791,000
the price of technology!

Yamaha has turbo sleds in minoqua. they've had them for a few years now. They use my buddies work as a shipper from japan. He gets prototype crates come through him all the time from japan. He won't look in the crates cause their sealed and he doesn't want to lose his job.

thats what I was told for up here in Canada too. On Feb. 13th. New Sleds and a new Rhino that will "Slam" the industry. It's not a Razr style though, not yet anyways. FYI it's not a 550fi. think Big.

Yamaha better have less weight, less fuel consumption, bigger gas tanks, rear suspensions what don´t brake twice in season and working hand warmers. Theese are the facts what my Yammie 4-stroke friends here complain alot.
Doo E-TECs are looking good here. They use less fuel than the 120 Vecter triple and are much lighter.
But I guess we´ll see soon enough.

Using less Fuel,Breaking rear suspensions? What are you talking about? People are getting 18+ MPG on there Nytros and the rear suspensions are AWESOME on these sleds!Ike said:Yamaha better have less weight, less fuel consumption, bigger gas tanks, rear suspensions what don´t brake twice in season and working hand warmers. Phazer and Nytro rear suspensions, RX (your Apex) and Vector MONO´s get broken here EASY. They have reinforced setups by Yamaha Finland here in recall for all of them.
Especially 4-cylinder models MONO skid are really prone to brake (last week one of my friends had his 07 RX Warrior´s mono broken, bent the rails on the thing too). Phazer suspension are close second. My friends Phazer RTX lasts about 500 km´s without braking. Then it falls apart. He rides it rough, but he´s only doing so to keep up with LYNX Re´s and Doo XP´s in the moguls. Keep in mind that we don´t really have groomed trails here...
and the E-TEC´s get better mileage here in the rough trails.

I was quite pleased when Mark came off our new 2010 xxxx after riding a 2009 and claimed it was immediately quantifiable as a home run. I was on the 2010 mule the night before and also had some good impressions but I was a little concerned that it’s virtues may not be that readily apparent to our guest riders. But when AJ finished his turn with similar comments to support his dads accolades I knew we were OK.pat the rat said:here's some interesting reading

If he wasn't sure the next guy would notice the difference in the 2009 & 2010 models, like he did, chances are its not a big difference!

I'm going to give my prediction here. After all, my prediction did end up 100% correct last year with the 177HP Turbo Cat.
The 3 cyl will get more power 145-150 HP (Real HP, they may call it 140-145). May take premium fuel, may not. No big changes in chassis. This is one reason Yamaha is rebating all sleds right now.
The four cyl will get more power and a slightly different plastic in the same chassis, maybe a slightly higher seat, a bit more forward. 175-180 HP, more than likely a four valve head. Premium gas on this for sure. It will still eat hyfax for breakfast in hard snow conditions and still have the same piece of crap rear heat exchanger in the 136" long track as the 09's that limits travel and gets scared up if you stud it. They will MARKET a 15 lbs weight loss but won't tell you how they added 20 back in someplace else. I do bet the handwarmers work though. Over all the years since they started with the 03 RX-1, every year they CLAIM weight loss but surprisingly, the actual real world weight has gone UP over the years when they get weighed in the mags.
I also predict I have a 2010 Four-Stroke Ski-Doo 1200 in my garage next year one year from now, that makes a factory 185+ HP, runs on premium fuel with a boost adder, actually weighs 90-100#'s less than the Yamaha, rides and handles good right out of the crate without overheating and burning hyfax. I think it will be a 137" long track Renegade that is black and yellow.
Let's look back a month from now and see how close I come. I'll bet I'm within 80-90% correct. Not sure about the Doo, but I just REALLY wanted to throw that in there!

Besides sounding like your into yourself a little too much in your post and your predictions ,I can't wait for you to leave witn your attitude towards sticking with Yamaha or not .Although your prediction of a 2010 Ski Doo in your future is more than likely correct you forgot one thing to add to your list "DRIVE SHAFTS" cause there breakin in half with 140 hp and recalled,imagine what 185+ will do to that hollow shaft .I ride Yamaha because it's a Yamaha and this forum is mainly for people who enjoy there ride SEE YA!
