Anyone have any feedback, I live in Ski-Doo country and my buddy drives a 09 1200 and says nothing can touch him corner to corner but lacks top end even though he has quite a few extras into it. I test drove a 10 Vector GT and loved it and that will be my next sled. Just wondering how they compare on trail and lake.
Thanks

It's a coin flip at best.............. You need to ride both and find out who has the best dealership in your area........ The way each sled fits you is the main thing...... The yammie has a more refined motor with better fuel mileage.. The doo has better handleling... The yammie sounds better, the doo has a little better top end.. The yammie has better out of the hole punch... Buy the one that works "BEST" for you........ I love my 05 vector but if I had to buy new I'd be confused.. I would have a terrible time making up my mind without testing both for more than a few miles..... Good luck.. Either sled rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MM.

I would think he might have a little on you in the long straights but trail riding you should be able to hang with him and beat him. I would also recommend trying the 136 LTX version.

I rode with 2 friends last weekend 1 on a new fx nytro and 1 on a new GSX 1200 4tec and it was back and forth every time they lined up pretty much a dead even the skidoo rider was 75 lbs heavier and sled not studded the nytro was a XTX and studded they switched rides and the nytro rider said torque wise it was equal but the skidoo was in a different league as far as handling was concerned

We have both sleds. The 1200 is bone stock currently. The 2010 Vector LTX has clutching, modified air box, and the exhaust header changed. They are very close on performance setup this way and the ride/handling on both is excellent. You probably won't be disappointed with either one.
