Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows what is up with my Nytro. I have a full hindle exhaust, K&N intake kit, and a PC5 I am running Ulmer racing pc5 map for the set up I have and my A/F is always 10 Besides about 20% throttle and at full throttle I will read around 11-12 But everywhere else it reads 10. Today I decided to take away fuel at idle. 0% throttle @ 1500 rpm until I had reading of 12.8 on the a/f gauge. it went down to -22% on my pc5 to get that reading. Any idea what is wrong. (Also it is actually running rich. Black clouds of gas when I hit the throttle) also getting a knocking/ tunk noise when i press the throttle. I have a buddy that has the same set up as me and his is running fine. Only difference between my seld and his is his is 09 and mine is 10

Did you put stabilizer in gas before putting it away for the summer and run the engine to treat the entire fuel system. If not could be bad gas as Mr Sled pointed to. The gas today goes bad really quick. I always treat sled, boat,MC and run them a mile or 2 to get it treated thruout the system. Everything starts up and runs perfect each season. Been using Yamaha Fuel MED RX for years in everything from chainsaw to boat.

I would check the o2 sensor as Mr Sled pointed out. Even if it's new could be bad. Should be able to find what voltage readings it should be putting out and test it. You didn't answer me on treating the gas did you?

That sucks and I know it is frustrating. Try running diagnostics and see if you see anything as far as sensors go. The info is in the Nytro FAQ section.

Well if she ran good before you made all the changes. I would revisit each and every item you installed i.e. exhaust ( any leaks near header connections ), wiring connections tight and ( no bent pins inside connector plugs), no intake gasket leaks etc. Set pc5 back to proper map for application your using. Check the entire install !!! You have time before snow and if you get frustrated walk away from it and come back another day to give it another try.
Good luck

Also check for broken wires on the PCV connections.
