2011 Apex 128 rear suspension cable adjuster

I am replacing the cable adjuster on my mono suspension. Since the existing cable was severed, how do I know where the shock is actually set? So I know where to have the dial set when I install the new one.

Reset procedure bulletin from Yamaha is in the Tech Area . . .

Fit a screwdriver into the port on the shock body. Turn is clockwise until it stops. This is full hard. Then turn the RA adjuster to full hard and install your cable. We offer an alternative tool to the cables. Info in this thread.
