Hi am new to totally yamaha , just finished a mcx 200 turbo kit on a 2012 apex xtx, went for maiden voyage today and found the performance great but noticed oil smoke out exhaust at idle when warmed up ..... not noticeable while driving. Any one have any ideas sled and turbo both new. Thanks Jeff
Check oil return pump - make sure that pins are installed correctly. Also check oil return hoses from the turbo.

How old are you? Maybe you are getting forgetful in your old age. Next time get your buddy to watch and make sure you put the pin in. LOL

Hey Glen, it's the pin in the end of the oil pump that goes in the end of the new crank bolt. Mag side.

First install the crank shaft bolt supplied with the mcx kit - then:
1. I take the pump apart before entering the oil return pump - place the innerside of the pump agains the mag cover without threading it on
2. Carefully make sure the pin on the pumpshaft enters its place/groove on the new cranks shaft bolt
3. When oilpump shaft and pin are in place - hold it stady will installing/threading oilpumps innerside side on the mag cover
4. Re install all parts of the oil pump including outer pin on the pump shaft
5. Use 2 bolts and a screwdriver to tighten it down - remove bolts
6. Line up where you want the banjo fitting
7. Install the outer cover of the oil return pump and its 4 bolts. I use blue locktite on these bolts
8. Install oil return hose on the banjo - remember the two washers
Hope that was understandable
