2012 Cats, what do you think?

Now those are sleds..They did a great job..but the exhaust is still too high..so you get exhaust from the sled..my buddy complains about that when he rides under 50mph..with his crossfire 2011..and has a seat jack for girlfriend and she always complains about the exhaust..didnt do that on his old 2003 firecat..but the exhaust was lower..He doesnt use cheap oil..

I own both an Apex, and a 03 ZR900. I love the look of the white and orange machine., and could own one, very easily, once I win the lottery.Lol

Thats easy to fix either don't ride under 50 or stop breathing :o|

After looking at all the 2012 models,i think my apex xtx is the sled 4 me. I got the relaibilaty, comfort, looks bad #*$&@ and last but not the least it has the badest funnest engine in the industry. I will be keeping this one as long as it runs. Should last for a long time. Best bang for the buck in my opinion. And as far as the 3 other manufacturers they all look the same just different collor. LOL  :yam: :jump:

500 cash in hand on a new 12 Pro Cross XF1100 Turbo SP Limited, jeeze could the name get any longer. As soon as my dealer gets back I will have one on order. Love my Nytro but it still leaves some things to be desired and I grew up a CAT guy and am pretty pumped about this new chassis. I will say I am not brand loyal but I think I will give Yamaha some time to cook up a answer to these cats.....and yes I know all about first year sleds but I can not resist.

After this major recall they just had, it would be hard for me to consider buying the first year of an all new design from them.

Kinda like how the front bolt on my 09 nytro just fell out all on its own? And that wasn't even on a first year model!

Give me a break.

They all have issues. To try to act like X brand is the best is silly. It's what's best for the individual. Been on a Yamaha for 13 years. I'm buying a Cat this year. Never thought those words would cross my lips.

Cat flat out hit a homerun with this sled. 65 pounds of the 1200 turbo is sweet and 60 pounds of that is off the front end. Plus they tilted the motor back. It's going to feel SUPER LITE.

the next question is which one. If the white looks good in person that's the one I'll be getting.

I don't know about all that white, it would be pretty difficult to keep clean. I can't even keep all my yellow clean

If I had the money, I'd be trading in my etec for the F1100 turbo sno pro...Probably black/orange. 128" is long enough for our tight twisty trails.

Why they put a stupid Ripsaw track on it is beyond me. They used to have the best tracks on their sno pros (1.375 Predator style). It makes no sense.

Here is the translation

F1100 Turbo SP LTD/50th is 549lbs
F800 SP is 459 lbs
F1100 SP is 527lbs
XF1100 Turbo SP LTD/50th is 549lbs
XF800 SP High Country is 456lbs
M1100 Turbo SP LTD 163 is 562lbs
M800 HCR 153 is 470lbs
M800 SP 153 is 474lbs
M800 153 is 476lbs

Not sure if the US versions will be exactly the same, but they can't vary by much.

Side note... the tank of the line up is the Bearcat Z1 XT at 712lbs!

Hats off to Cat no you can get a reliable enigne in a modern chassis, only question now will they get the fit and finish like a yamaha? If so I see ski doos and yamaha riders coverting. They did a bang up job and listened to what people wanted.

Yamaha will need to get real aggressive with a chassis or exit the game. There isn't a ton of money in it for any sled manufacturer I'm surprised they stay in it!

Problem for yamaha is for the high HP junkies like myself a Cat turbo will be thousands cheaper then a NA yamaha in a kick azz chassis so they may still lose business unless they come out boosted option that is standard and not on top of a already high price.

The 1100T with $1100 can be 250-260hp on pump fuel. Insane!

Was looking on hcs and there were 807 people looking at the artic cat general forum. Only 365 at polaris, 62 at ski doo and 61 at yammie. There are a lot of people looking at them.

Funny.....as soon as i saw the white and orange one I thought of you.....but I loved it too!!!! If i was in the market right now i'd pull the trigger, those sleds are sweet!!!! Brand loyal???? It's my money....and I love my nytro but technology is technology....it won't pass me by because of brand "loyalty". I still have almost 3 years of warranty left on my 09' nytro with 4200 miles. Did I get a good deal....well...so far..but would sell in a heatbeat for a new Cat. Yami corp (snowmobiles) is heading in the wrong direction and I couldn't tell you why ( i'm sure it's financial) but brand loyalty alone won't keep me on a sinking ship. For all the haters....I am the only one in my riding group that rides a yami. Been there..done that.
