New Amsnow has in its rumor mill that Yamaha might have a new light weight 4-stroke or an all new 2-stroke up their sleave for 2012. Anyone think Yamaha will ever introduce a new 2-stroke?

I think they should, but i doubt it. What is weird to me is that they're the only one of the big 4 that makes a 2 stroke motocross bike yet. (not positive)
I'd like to see a 500 two stroke in a Phazer. I doubt i'd buy it though, just love my engine too much! It'd be hard to fall off the wagon and start smokin again.

I agree , i cant see them get rid of the phazer but i could see it get some more jam! They also need to replace the bravo and i cant see yamaha wasting their time with a 2stroke since they only have two in their line up.... And they are the tops for 4stroke tech in the sled industry..... As for powersteering on the rs's Hell yeah that would be great! haha and maybe on the vk pro?

I hope the prices don't up to 13K on the Vector

I also can not see them getting rid of the Phazer. I have herd rumors of a 100hp phazer. It sure would be nice!

Even Doo is taking on more 4s with Ace...... Bye Bye 2s fan. Yam was right on in 2003 going to 4s now everyone else jumping in too. I just hope Yam stays in front others gaining ground quickly. Shame for Yam to lose market share but Japs know what happens when better mouse trip is released. They laughed in 2003 RX1ton.:)

2012 Vector LTX with EPS needs to push out 140-145 HP & I'm there. 125-135HP not enough to interest me.

100HP would be sweet. Better if the power was derived from a head change and remap. And, if the new head (three valve) was a direct bolt on to 07-11 motors. Can you say, "that part is back-ordered".

To be real, 20HP would be a 25% increase. That type of power increase would really take a new head design, cam profile, and remap. IMHO

lol back order for sure. The phazer is a quick sled, just not a fast one. 100hp would be the ticket to bridge the power gap between the phazer and nytro.
