2013 Apex diagnostic mode

got my apex out of storage Saturday and did the usual checks and fluid changes which for me include checking the positioning of the exup valve ( diagnostic mode 53 ) I went through the steps to get into diagnostic mode, went to 53 and hit the grip warmer. Nothing, fuel and check engine light came on and a click from the left side of the sled. I looked and has the diagnostic in mode 52 not 53 to cycle the exup. After this the fuel light and fuel gauge both flashed, the hole time we were riding even with a full tank of fresh 91. What did I do, anyone know what mode 52 is in the diagnostics and how to fix what I did. Thanks in advance

I know 53 is the correct mode and know how to adjust the exup valve. I'm looking to see what I did in mode 52 seems to have frigged up the fuel gauge. Looking to see who knows what mode 52 is

I was digging around in the manual to see what Mode 52 does and what the default is but could not find anything.
