2015 Headlight Condensation

Does anyone else have any condensation in there headlight? Took my new viper out for it's first ride ever, trying to get it all broke in, decided to go with the motoman break in method, not beating on the sled but varying engine rpms and speeds and riding it hard once and a while with some opening it up to full throttle for a split second to make sure the rings seat good. When I put the sled away I noticed condensation in the bottom of the headlight.

id like to fix the gauge condensation
 
Check your boots on the bulbs, make sure they are on properly.
And hope you never get enough condensation to get a drop of water on a bulb because you won't be changing that on the trail.

Alright whats the easiest way to check the boots on the bulb, will I have to remove the whole hood? Haven't done much work on my viper yet. The condensation did evaporate after a while but now that I have taken the sled into some decent drifts there is even more condensation now.
 
Just look through the hole in front of steering stem where goggle bag would go.
 
Well I checked the boots for the bulb housing and they seemed to be pushed on all the way. And I still get the condensation, I don't see any when I was riding it. It seems to appear after I shut the sled off...
 
Both of my 2014's do that. I upgraded to the HID kits and they still condensate in the lower front center of the light assembly just like yours. I wouldn't sweat it too much. Like you I was concerned initially but after 1600 miles, the condensation never got worse and it never affected the operation or visibility of the headlight or at least nothing I ever noticed. When the sled is in motion, the air passing under hood area creates a vacuum which draws air out keeping it clear and when you shut the engine down, there is some condensation that forms due from the evaporation process of the moisture under the hood as the headlight assembly is not air tight. Just keep and eye on it and if it gets real bad, talk to your dealer but otherwise, a little fog shows up in the lower portion and it evaporates after a little bit and doesn't return until you shut it down again. I think a lot has to do with the headlight design combined with the radiator location and the snow dust that gets in there from normal operation and burns off creating steam but I could be wrong.

I have a 2014 viper RTX SE and do not have a problem with condensation however my friend has a 2016 LTX LE and has a problem with condensation. I think that the headlight housing, in a location above the radiator and the additional heat of the engine which in affect warms the air in side the assembly. As the air cools inside the assembly, a vacuum is created by the transfer of heat causing cold dense air to fill the headlight assembly. As a result the cold air, unable to hold the moisture causes condensate to appear inside the assembly. The higher temperature differential between the two volumes of air the higher the water vapor hence more condensate. It would seem to be that the headlight is not the problem but more its location with respect to the heat source. Why some headlights produce vapor and some don't, more testing will need to be done.

I too have switched to HID lights and have a condensation problem not real bad but it is there. I have a 2014 LTX SE
