2015 Viper R-TX-DX arrived

I just received a phone call yesterday that my snow checked 2015 Viper R-TX-DX black arrived and I should call to arrange pickup. I was expecting Oct/Nov based on what the dealer was saying and very surprised it's here this early. I was concerned about delivery being later in Nov/Dec and not having it in time if the snow flies early, but that concern is gone. Now it's just a matter of when I want to pick it up. Any thoughts on postponing or getting it done soon? I have a trailer and can get it any time close by, but as far as warranty starting?

It sure is hard to have the sled and only being able to look at it and not ride it but looking at them sure is fun too lol

Talked to my Dealer and picking up the new Viper 7/26. I thought over not picking up for warranty and being off season doesn't really matter as I should be shut down long after the last year of the extended warranty so if there are any issues in the last year I can take it in at season's end if minor. The only thing that bothers me about picking up the sled this early is I don't hear anything about the hot start issue being resolved on 2015s. That was one issue I hoped had been addressed by Yamaha.

Anyone else hearing their sleds are ready for pickup?

Man I'd go get that thing and start looking it over and start adjusting stuff and go grass drag it!! Lol. I would rather have it sitting at your house than the shop. Now you can start putting on mods...

Rodger that, picking it up Saturday. I'm not too sure about the grass drags, but will start checking it out. Luckily my neighbors have sleds so I won't look too strange in my trailer checking out my first new sled. My neighbor is waiting for his AC 800 Sno pro so at least I'll beat him getting my sled. The boys are excited too, they get our old sleds. My son will ride my Yamaha 2001 SXR-700 and his son will ride his Cat F7. My other neighbor is a Polaris fan and pretty sure he's going with a 800 poo next season and his son will get the ole poo. Luckily we can all ride right down our street to the local trails.

Hope to hear of some other sleds coming in.

Well, I picked her up today, very nice looking IMO. Looks wicked in black. I pretty much like all the yamaha color patterns but just partial to black. The dealer said it was built in late June, and just shipped. He had also talked to other dealers that were getting snowmobile deliveries from Yamaha and noted that the delivies are starting earlier this year. So fo those waiting I hope you start seeing yours if you are ready and waiting. I suppose the Viper being new in 14 may have resulted in later deliveries. Anway, pretty excited to have her home. Can't wait for the snow to fall (that's what's great about snowmobiling). Oh, and no hot start issues, started fine in the warm weather, JK. For now I'll have to do some fishing.

The Sled looks awesome! Glad to hear they are starting to deliver sleds already! I hope i recieve mine in the next month or two!
