where is your belt sitting in the secondary? did you use ulmer clutch kit?I have a new build 2016 ltx LE with MPI turbo kit 600 miles. . Absolutely love it. The thing pulls like a freight train. Dead nuts 8750-9000 rpms depending on conditions and temp. Just put curve xs skis on tonight. Hit 110 in no time. 109 first weekend after only 200 miles. Still climbing. Qs3 shocks are awesome. This thing pulls and pulls. Don't believe what ya read. This mpi kit is perfect. I don't lake race. I trail ride. Can't wait for Sunday ! I'm falling in love every time I ride it.

He's running an LTX and we already have a stiffer center spring than the guys with the XTX. I also run my limiter strap all the way out and then set the preload in the center shock with the rear end suspended. I have 3/16 to 1/4 inch of preload on the spring, and the torsion springs on soft. My rear shocks are revalved. Hygear dual pressure kit on front shocks also helped handling as you can lower ski shock pressure without bottoming. Find the balance between ski shock pressure and center shock preload and you will be happy. When I dropped my pressure in the fronts to 65 it helped a lot. You may also consider heavier spring on skid shock.

Let me know what you figure out. I have a buddy in same situation. He's got the 50s and he can't seem to get it dialed. Please let me know what weight set up along with what primary spring. ThanksYes, Ulmer clutch kit. I had it before I put turbo on, so I just need to dial it in. The cam arms are 50g not 60g. Just needs a bit of tuning.

Here is my quick review of my new Viper 2015 X-TX-SE MPI 180 turbo dealer installed with Ulmer clutch kit. I came from an 06 Attak that 1 put 13,000 miles on. This Viper is fantastic I have 2 rides and 600 miles so after break in I have been able fully test for the last 300 miles. The power is great, absolutely pulls HARD and is a smile all day. Sled weight and suspension is superior to the Attak. I put the Hygear 141 pro linkage and rear dual pressure and this thing is a pretty good trail burner and the power corner to corner makes me giggle. I do have C&A Razr skis, since the tuners are junk. Top RPM is 8800, and max speed is about 95 mph, gearing will need to be changed (special thanks to Allen Ulmer who helped me understand besides the gearing the drivers on XTX's are different than LTX's)and I assume that is an effect on the 10mpg which is the only thing I can possible bring up as a minor negative. Would love to get an EVO flash as long as I do not need to change or add anything else, and totally understand why everyone that has turbos keeps wanting to up the boost.
Totally satisfied with the purchase
