2016 Manitoba TY RIDE Interest

Brian we await your decision, I seem to remember some nice meals around Falcon lake. No idea about trails or hotels.

Would be great to see and ride with you and the crew from "Canadia"again, smiling just thinking of our 2000 mile extravaganza ride with Swissledder / Matt as our guide. What was that 2008? Gary have any interest in joining us?Terry is coming as you have read.

I think it was 2010, I have a picture but for some reason it is not showing the option to post I will invite Matt as he was there for the first TY so he might be interested. He rides a 1200 Doo now but I told him that we would talk to him anyway.

Thats right ... your having your cook out.. I will wait. :)

I had to re-read this, as at 1st....I thought someone had something else out..... :moon:

Yea I think 2010 is correct. It was the year Canada hosted the winter Olympics, I remember us seeing that each night and commenting on why on one stretch we went 575 miles with out seeing another group or even sledder. Over parts of two days of course.

would be great if Matt could join us from across the atlantic. I bet those babies of his have grown.

I remember those 575 mile days and not seeing any other sleds :)

Ya it was GREAT. Terry taught us how to use old bearings as spacers and that you really only need two rear wheels. I don't know why an hour straight at 80mph + across Lake of the woods would be so hard on those little wheels lol

Was that the cold morning when Terry needed a jump from a Chevy Truck? I think so. Yamadoo

I am in as long as we are in Lac Du Bonnet. I have a cottage a half hour away at Grand Beach. The only other hotels in the area that are big enough as it sounds like a few guys are coming is the South Beach Casino at Scantaberry and it is full of ice fishing farmers from the Excited States for most of Feb. ;) I will trailer every day as its easier than staying or leave sled there and drive home. I will also have space for some guys if overflow is needed. I will likely bring a few buds from the area. One has a XF7000 an the other a Venture. They will be hooked after we get back from the Thanksgiving ride in Colorado.

Every year I drive to Nemadji in Minnesota for a few days of quadding with the Polaris guys so no excuses on the drive. Colorado is going to be 23 hours for us, but hey we live on the Prairies and drive our kids 2 hours to get to hockey games. :)

I would think hotel info will not be confirmed until after we locals discuss it this weekend and figure out what best suits our needs.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooo???????????????
Hummmmmmmm is there a Secret Meeting Place for this :jump:

Sooooooooooooooooooooo?????????

What's Going On???????
