Like this? Lol. :p Don't get excited boys! It's a joke. ;)

I guess nothing new for the Viper/7000 unless it's some suspension tweaks and I doubt a more powerful Yamaha motor will appear. If there was I would guess it's in a Cat chassis and is a lower powered engine or factory turbo Viper at best. I hope I am wrong.

Actually you may remember I had a 2014 M8 LTD and sold it and bought a 2014 Viper to mod into an MTX. The 4 stroke torque cannot be duplicated by a 2 stroke.....

Yamaha Release Feb 25th and the snow check goes into affect immediatley after release
Arctic Cat Release is March 1st and does the same

So after much study and prognostication I have decided to get a new 2016 Viper at this years snow check, spring sale or whatever they call it. I was wondering based on previous years when we can expect to hear about the next years models and incentives.

There are still a few 15's around here but even the dealers are saying to wait, and as we have virtually no snow, that is really easy.

Anyone have any insight as to what might be coming? I am hoping for a factory installed turbo but am more than willing to put one in.
ARE YOU SURE THERES GONNA BE A 16' VIPER LOL!

Fz09 engine in the street bike is awesome and fun, but ultimately is no comparison to the r1 engine. I demoed an fz09 this past summer and fell in love, the power was smooth everywhere and made for a fun bike, almost considered swapping in mine for one. Realistically tho the r1 engine makes leaps and bounds more power, a boosted fz09 engine would be fun but a cross plane 1000cc 4 cylinder will make as much or more power. That new r1 is claiming right around 200 hp n/a. That's the engine they gotta give us snowmobilers!
I THINK THE REASON YAMAHA WONT GIVE US THE 200 HP R1 IN A SLED IS THE SAME REASON THERE #4 IN SLED SALES.LAMEOOOOOOOOOOOOO'S
WITH THE TECHNOLOGY YAMAHA HAS THEY SHOUL BE #1 IN SALE MOST YEARS IF NOT ALL!

I don't know , the 9000 kats don't sell excessively well & there in the shop a lot.
but I hope Yamaha pulls there head out of there a$$ so I can buy more from them.
looking at the same sled 6 to 8 years straight in there lineup sucks.

That's because 1100t cats blow belts oil, fuel lines sound like a tractor and are super heavy.

And yes read the "fine print" aka the spec sheets. Don't assume or guess that the products in pics are the products on production. Pre season specs very but the sheet is normally close.

Well it took cat a couple years to really get the bugs worked out of the 1100 turbo, but at this stage they're as reliable as anything else out there. The ones that people hear about with trouble are the ones that people are really cranking up the boost. Everyone wants more power and less weight, procross is light and we all know yamaha is capable of making some wicked engines.

Arctic Cat has already released the Pantera in the Protour chassis last year. Do you mean something else?

Yamaha....Cat out of the bag....**snickers**

Can't wait to see what's comin out!

Cat 3000/yamaha? Think Phazer in Procross. Guys I agree with Studroes. We need the Crossplane in this chassis. Would find a w ay t o get one for sure. The 9000 turbo cat is a huge seller. Those guys are addicted to all that power. Even with issues. Cripes I have seen mountain sleds bought for flat landers. They just cut the track lugs down!
