Is this the stock gems settings? This one shown on the sheet is 10-12 hp down from some other trail turbos that have been dynoed, I know the poor muffler design robs power but curious why there so much difference from sled to sled.

If so I was told by mpi that yamaha had them program the gems very rich.
This is just what I was told.
For experience my sled does not feel like 190 hp. It's very close to an apex, maybe 10 hp more. Hopefully ulmers pcv upgrade will help this year.
My 16 wouldn't get any better then 12 afr at w/o. Like you say that's safe and not far off. The big problem is cruising mid rang. I was running mid 9s afr.To my knowledge all settings are stock. It was at 12.1 afr at wide open, maybe a tad richer in the mid rpm range but nothing crazy. I know that since I had the different exhaust done and the pc5 it's a whole different machine. With the quiet muffler and gems controller most I ever went to was 7 psi. Now with the 2.5" exhaust and pc5 even at just 8 psi its way more responsive and pulls much harder up top.

That's good to know. I've gotta wait and see now.My stage 1 was like that when it was first built and would not brake 8 mpg when others with leaner maps were getting 12 and 13 running just as hard
