2016 Yamaha Apex?

got 175 kph on the gps, (178 kph on speedo) on a non broken in sled , 100% stock machine in okay but not optimal conditions...

Awesome, I can go out and buy 1 stock and then control the whole company! I believe you listed the wrong Yamaha stock.

You believe but you don't really know, just like you know they are private company right. And by the way I own 2 shares so I control the company.

They make so many little changes, and the sled is now a different beast, but everybody thinks its the same old sled with a few bandaids to patch problems... but this sled is really way ahead of the first models.. thumbs up Yam.. except maybe your marketing department isn't getting the messge out there...

I was a Scuba Pro Tech as well as other brands ...they have one of the best regulators. While others were coming out with new models or gadgets that weren't proven and loaded with bugs/defects. Scuba Pro just kept improving the design and keeping a high quality line. And newer parts would retro fit older models. This is what I see in the Apex and how it's evolving. As well it should be. I have a total of 14000 miles on these Attaks. Wife has a Vector LTX. I would love to get into this new machine called X-TX.

Leftover is the way I went, just like I figured I would end up doing after Feb. 25th came and went. I still love the blue the best and in my opinion the 2014 is the best blue color scheme Yamaha put on the trail and I was fortunate enough to find a new 2014 Apex XTX on Fri. 02/27 at a GREAT price (what a nice improvement from my 2007 Apex) and I've got my 300 miles of break in completed and will be changing the oil and filter at 500 miles this Sun. What a great way to end the season, I'll have over a 1,000 miles on it before putting her in storage set up ready to ride next winter.

i bet your 2014 is a lot better then your 2007, there are a lot of little improvments every year, and they really ad up at the end..

Yes they do rash and I'm loving the extra traction with the XTX so it's going to be a nice way to end the season

i'm sure it must pull in the arms pretty good, i'm stuck on my renegade 1200 until next novembre..grr... now that i tried an apex, summer will be loong, hopefully the littles new things like rear suspension, damping, front geometry and other tweeks will make it even better, just worried about 2.86 ratchet instead of 2.52

I can assure you rash that your going to love a new Apex and if your truly wanting to go with a 2016 model than you really need to call around and find the dealer that's going to give you the best "spring check" price and get your sled on order. I'm not sure what Yamaha is doing this year for the guys that spring check their sleds, but typically they offer some kind of insintive so I'd at least look into it. Otherwise going with a new leftover model like I did will definitely save you money, I saved about $2,800 going with a leftover 2014 Apex XTX and I love this sled.........let me know what you decide to do and good luck.

Your link for Yamaha Stock was NOT to "Yamaha motor company" 7272 When I said "private company" I was making the point that they are not some government welfare wing that we are entitled to. Yamaha doesn't have to make snowmobiles thre is no government law that says they have to. Besides, Shareholders or no shareholders, the shareholders are not going to make a decision on what snowmobile color and stickers or shocks to put on.
