Im considering buying a leftover 2017 or new 2018 Apex. I currently have a 2013, but want one more before they may be discontinued. The only concern I have is the single shot rear shock. I haven’t read very many good things about it. I see they have an updated shock that’s supposedly better. If anybody has some seat time on this rear suspension I’d like to hear your feedback before I make my decision. The mono shock was easy to adjust, but this whole air thing seems tough to get right.

I have a 2017 with singleshot skid. The shock that came on it was very stiff and harsh. I got the updated shock from my dealer. Seems to ride a lot better now. I didnt get many miles on as i bought it at the end of the season, so not much seat time yet. Definitely love the sled so far. It hooks up great.
