So currently the sled has about 1400 miles on it and recently, the rear suspension started dropping under power. We rode up in the UP this weekend and the first half of the trip was perfect... no issues with the sled. The second half is when I noticed that the rear of the sled is sagging and really drops when I get on it. Plus, at 75mph+, the rear starts to drop hard under moderate acceleration. Its in my shop now thawing out but any ideas? Thinking I have a shock problem... I know I have read on here that a lot of people are changing the spring out on the center but not sure if that's my specific problem Anyone have this exact issue and if so, what was the culprit...?

Mine was doing this last year. The rear shock was blown. Had it rebuilt. Pretty sure it happened riding 2 up on Tug Hill with my seat jack. Me and the GF were running 12"+ chop at about 50 mph to just get it over with.

Thanks - Already called Ian @ Monster Performance to get them shipped out. Pretty confident this is my issue. I will know more tonight after work when I pull the skid.

It was 10* at night... 23* during the day... temp shouldn't make that much of a difference in this case as it was a sudden change in ride.

If the shock loses its nitrogen it will do that , rebuild your shocks. I'm rebuilding my rear shocks , mostly because the centre shock is soft

You sure you just didn’t have ice or slush in tunnel? It was very common this weekend and it doesn’t take much. You might consider running torsions one position higher if that’s case.
Is a bulletin out for this on Winders will post it tonight. Basically it says look and get rid of ice or buildup often.

She's a trooper. That was a "slide up, bear hug me and don't let go" situation. It's pretty bad when the people riding 2 up left the group in the dust.Holy Cow! She is a keeper.

The trick with the hill is to go faster, and try to miss at least half the garbage...wear and tear reduced 50%! That place can get knarly for sure! Good workout, especially 2 up!! Neat thing about the hill seasonals, at least, the same nasty bumps appear in roughly the same places. I forgot about one heading back down north road...a real sharp edged deep one, just as I was passing a bud....thought I broke the apex in half...lol! SW does a nice job on them though...Mine was doing this last year. The rear shock was blown. Had it rebuilt. Pretty sure it happened riding 2 up on Tug Hill with my seat jack.
