I'd hope that the Thundercat would run over 115mph. I'm hoping the SRX is closer to 130 mph with really good conditions. I thought I heard that the 2018 sidewinder did 126 mph last year. Like I said both staying stock for a bit.

Thundercat will smoke SRX in 660 and 1000 because of gearing ET is we’re it’s at, lake running the SRX it depends on what you want, put high gears in do 140 in 2500, sleds are same except for gearing.

The SRX already won. Just look at it!

130GPS wont happen as its only geared for 126 maybe 127 tops. And to hit 127gps you would need perfect ice conditions(not snow) and a long run and likely some tailwind and a broke in engine.I'd hope that the Thundercat would run over 115mph. I'm hoping the SRX is closer to 130 mph with really good conditions. I thought I heard that the 2018 sidewinder did 126 mph last year. Like I said both staying stock for a bit.
Also with the SRX stock window, you will need to tuck your helmet under left handlebar so the wind does not catch shoulders or helmet, I do this always for speed runs. Otherwise you need the SE window which is a great radar window as the medium is too high.
Tcat window will work better likely, Tcat is good for 118gps I believe due to 24/50 gears(unless they come with taller gears? I have not confirmed for '19)

Ya I was wondering about changing the windshield. The one on it may not be practical but sure dresses it well.

Well my Srx pulls hard and feels great in the trails. My wifes Thundercat also pulls hard and does well in the trails. At this time I feel that the SRX pulls harder but the Thundercat has better skis for handling turning in the trails. I only have 175 miles on each machine. Have had both machines up to 92 MPH and still pulling strong. Those speeds were crossing a small lake. We were heading across the lake at about 40 mph and we throttled both machines. The Thundercat started pulling ahead and I wasn't catching up. That being said I weight over 140lbs. more than my wife. Also I didn't notice if my wife was in loose snow like me. Were heading out to ride tmrw and check a few rolling start to see who pulls ahead first and can keep a lead on the lake. Came across a a plowed area on Winston lake for radar runs and guys testing there machines. I noticed that I could hear a rattle on my machine in the mid range. Checked it out when I got home and could not find any loose bolts. Did some research and sounds like Yamaha clutches are well known for rattling. The Thundercat sounds great and so does the SRX above the mid range. Sorry cant give any top speeds or conclusive answers to 'King Of The Lake " yet but I'm working on it. Were out tmrw as I said and will post on Saturday some speeds and pictures. Overall the SRX is amazing and my arms were sore for 3 days after my 1oo mile ride. Anybody have any top speeds yet for either of these machines in stock form this year. Looking for a bench mark.

I have the 19 LTX and the most I can eek of it is 120 in what I would say were near perfect conditions, and that was speedo, not GPS. However, the SRX is capable of at least 5 mph more for sure imo.

They have different gears SRX has taller 21/41 Tcat 24/50 SRX 1 inch track will be faster, just saying TCAT quicker short distances.

Remove left side panels on both, and listen to each machine at idle. SRX will be all rattle.

Agree quicker, and better backshift on cat/team secondary.....better top end on SRX with gears though.

Take away the colors and they are very alike. The cat hood is a little larger.

The limiter strap must be tied down good cause there is no ski lift on either machine. I'm happy with that cause I'd hate to see the turbo engage in a corner and lift those skis lol. But for top speed I guess you want that ski lift to remove weight from the front end?
