Was told that from Yamaha Rep at Novi show and there are news releases from Yamaha Canada posted on face book.
Plus was mentioned on Maxxsled for the new TCat's.

As for SW gas mileage, while riding in the UP I glanced at Don's (VX1R) and Mike's (snoseeker) gas pumps several times as we all filled up at the same intervals. They were both really close to my Attak and Mike's SW is flashed running the 270 hp tune. Mike's usually was even or a hair more than me, Don was usually a hair less than me.
All I know is I have no complaints on my own mileage, sure uses much less fuel than my old 2 stroke Viper did.

I like it. Hope the offer a 141 or 146.
Would kind of defeat the purpose of the SRX being a lake racer. The 1 inch fully clipped track is good for highspeed running, 141 single ply track not so much.

I'm so glad I have no itch for anything new (and haven't for some time) the SW is really the only "new" sled put out by this GREAT merger ....That said, is this SRX considered one of the "5 new sleds" talked about when this joint venture took place ? Again other than the SW its really weak! I have no idea what segment of the line up it be but they Have to build something that is more affordable to the masses and is still a great sled .The sport is WAY over priced. What is this sled going to cost?? 18.500 OTD? Great move! I feel lucky I've had 40 plus years in the sport because it seems the end is near......

This will probably be the first sled to crack $20 grand here in Canada. I'll bet msrp of $19,999 + our 13% tax on top of that!

iACT suspension is coming to Yamaha, but they call it iQS. I’m guessing since they are using it as well as Cat it is a jointly developed system.

do people actually think YAM is still out there? YAM is cat and has been for awhile.iACT suspension is coming to Yamaha, but they call it iQS. I’m guessing since they are using it as well as Cat it is a jointly developed system.
Only thing we get diff is things like diff track lengths, seems like maybe more 129s....
But this SRX is a tcat, which is why I posted the first post...tcat=srx in blue

All I can say is that I talked to a young Cat engineer in the Big Horns last winter and the only thing he told me (or probably could tell me) is that yes Yamaha does send engineers to work with them on joint projects. That’s all I know and of course he is probably not allowed to get into details with customers about that arrangement.
SRX on a kids sled yes I liked that. On a Turbo sled its sacrilege first two strokes gone and now NA Fourstrokes. Should have a Crossplane 4 in there. Not interested at all. Have fun with it.

Not sure why you would want a NA high performance sled. It will never be in the same realm of what a tuned sidewinder can do. Boost is king. Tuners are running 160+mph with these sleds on the stock engine. Hurricane is making 330hp on 91 octane with a turbo and fuel system upgrade. It’s a beautiful thing

Disagree. Working with Dave on high elevation tunes and it's pretty awesome to see what the winder can do at 19 + psi at 10,000ft and only weights and helix changed, stock springs. Simple pleasure. For drag racing. Pain in butt for anything else.
