Sailor Joe go a bit further to Caribou, you will like the riding better. Millinocket is getting boney.

Fabio I had that issue as well, but even the medium windshield wont fit in most clamshell trailers. I made a groove in the bottom connections that go under the hood and then the only thing you have to remove is 6 screws. I had luck removing and putting my windshield on and off each time.

My sled barely fits with the medium sport windshield so like you said it won’t fit with the medium.
Luckily when I went to pick up my sled the mechanic at the dealer jumped in my trailer to make sure the sled would fit and sure enough I heard him say stop it won’t close, dealer had a medium sport in stock and that’s how I ended up with it on my sled.
Weird thing is my buddy’s 2018 sidewinder with tall windshield fits in my trailer, I guess the new geometry raised the sled quite a bit.

These mirrors do fit the 2020 ltx gt, I’ve seen 4 this year, 1 in Ontario and 3 in Quebec. You don’t have the dimples to drill but if you make a paper template and position the mirrors correctly they will work.

I only change the windshield as my sled wouldn’t fit in my Triton trailer with the stock 2020 windshield. Like I said above the mirrors I have in the pic below will fit the stock 2020 windshield. View attachment 154029

Race, thanks for the info. Have not been up that far yet...lets see if the weather holds for snow Friday..I'd be nice to get another last ride in.
I've heard the tall windshields can be an issue with some trailers, something about needing a 12' trailer...I load mine into the bed of the truck..just need a cover..

From Blackstone Mass. to Caribou is a 7 hour drive, then add traffic and pit stops...its a haul but certainly will make the trek at some point...rain forecasted Friday. Next year it would be an adventure to do the Gaspe Peninsula, trying to get a few guys to do the 1600 mile trip. Right now my sled is in the shop with an oil leak..they are going to check the sled out and tighten whatever is loose. This summer will be adding some kind of power assisted steering, add mirrors, securing gps Montana for easy viewing, add new skis and do whatever needs to be done to make it a long hauler for the Gaspe trip. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I have a STX Sidewinder GT. Has anyone changed out the tuner 3 skis, anyone using Simmons 3 skis?
