I picked up a new 2020 Viper ltx gt a month ago, great sled overall but the throttle pull is brutal/heavy, sore thumb and hand within a half hour. My previous sled (Skidoo) had the drive by wire so I'm not used to the heavy feel but I had a '13 Vector and the throttle was way lighter. Anybody have a solution to lighten up the throttle?

It is interesting that you find the Viper throttle heavy after having had a Vector. Having the drive by wire in between the sleds may have influenced your memory of the Vector's throttle pull. I went directly from a Vector to a Viper, and I found much preferred the Viper throttle. I used to get "numb thumb" from the Vector, to the point that it really was uncomfortable and affected my enjoyment of the ride, but since going to the Pro Cross sleds, I have not had that problem at all. I regularly ride 150-250 miles a day, and I have had no numbness or soreness at all. It is definitely different than the Japan throttle, but I think you just have to find the right hand position that is comfortable and works for you.

Maybe it's the shape of the lever, I believe the 2020 Viper is a Cat lever vs the Yamaha lever. It is interesting that you find the Viper throttle heavy after having had a Vector. I think that the Pro Cross Yamahas have always had the Cat throttle levers. I know the Barn of Parts developed a conversion kit for guys who wanted to use the Japan throttle on their new Pro Cross sleds. I never followed upon on it because I was happy with the Cat throttle.

The 19+ lever is more ergonomically friendly than 14-18. The kit I offer does not fit the 19+ sleds.

I agree. I have a 2012 Vector and 2016 Viper. It's most notable when going from the Viper to the Vector.......the throttle is so light that I am jerk starting like crazy. On long days with the Viper my thumb sometimes goes numb.
On mine I replaced the throttle cable this year and it helped quite a bit. Still not as easy as a Sidewinder but ok.
