I think a phazer motor in the procross chassis for $9-10,000 would be a seller. that's only a $1000 over the cheap skidoo sled. my wife would have one if they came out with that. You don't get much anymore for $10k
Pretty sure they could fit it in the ascender chassis which is what Venom is based on. Narrower body than ProCross. Like Alpha. It’s what’s needed.

I was just on the Cat intro. It looks like EPS on the TCat, another Blast model, and remote adjust shocks on the Riot.
New primary clutch.

Just curiosity. Is it Variable assist?

Can you share where you saw EPS? as that is real news. All anyone has seen is Power Steering on the yamaha clip. Did AC show EPS? I can't imagine they would go electronic leaving Yamaha with Manual.
The EPS was on the Thundercat.

There was a leak picture of a promo sign the dealer had during their presentation last week.

Now we know Cat charges 900$ CAD or USD for EPS. At least its an option.

Not much chatter on the 22 Yamahas? I just hope they don't use GREY in all the sidewinders! ENOUGH grey already.. Anyone ordering a new Sidewinder? I just sold my old one and getting a little jacked up for the release.. I'm the only fool hoping for a surprise of some sort? New clutch? something? How about a green and blue sidewinder? LOL

Is there any info on the power steering and how it works?is it the same as the apex?

They better not be going with the AC designed clutches. If yamaha is known for anything outside of the engines, it's the clutches and belts. Team industries has been making clutches for AC for years, and I have word from folks within Team, that AC designed this latest clutch release that they announced for 2022. They still my outsource the production of course, but it was designed inside of AC. That would be just one more kick to the goods, if Yamaha dropped their own clutches. It would be like going to a different ECU.... oh wait..

The AC version is an actual EPS unit, which I found funny that Yamaha didn't put EPS on the hood instead of Power Steering. As we know of the third party variants. I don't think more info is out there yet. But some rumbled that the Apex design may not be applicable, while other say there is enough room to put about anything in there. (not sure)

Would be nice to see a revamped apex with new name and 998 turbo in it with p/s.
Jarret said it would attract the Apex/Vector faithful. EPS would do that. If they put an Apex/Apex II sticker on an EPS Sidewinder, you would piss most of us off with that blasphemy!!

That's a nameplate reserved for something totally different, and in my opinion, it's too soon. When the ProCross gets replaced, they could consider it, and not before. Otherwise, folks will just be comparing that machine to all the others since 2017. One should concentrate on all that is new and fresh, and not how it differs from previous year variants.
