2022 Lineup

Buddy here in Ontario just ordered a 2022 SW GT with power steering. $800 off list but then got dinged with $700 freight so not a deal at all in my mind. If he is happy then so be it!
Not a great deal no.

I used to PDI a lot of sleds from 97 through 04.
The all Jap models did have quite a bit of stuff left to assemble. About 4-5 hours.
But these US sleds take about half that time, so $700 seems a bit much, unless freight was included in that also.

At the very least let us choose shocks and EPS. It’s not like they have 6 different shocks to choose. You have 3 options. I don’t care about EPS but I still think a customer should be able to choose it
Jon, you missed mentioning pre-studded tracks...it would be a nice option. Joe

He was a vendor on this site recently
You need to start your purchase my clicking on the ad and going to the vendor site to make your purchase like they do with airline malls....don't believe TY has that tracking.

For those who might be interested,gseperformance.com sells a bolt on EPS kit,and will install for approximately $150.kit listed on there web site is $1599 .They are located near Watertown NY. He was a vendor on this site not that long ago.

Pretty expensive kit. If it was under $1000 it would be more attractive to buyers.

Anybody hear anything on the upper gear bushing and drive shaft bearing issues being fixed? It's the difference if I will buy or not. I know about all the fixes and the success everybody is having, but should we really have to be doing those fixes to brand new sleds as customers?

Exactly, finely somebody gets it, thank you

So, my original dealer that I was going to work with, does not want to give anything off the sled. I called another dealer and he is offering a little over 1k off, but he says he hasn't heard of pre-ordering a sled, and says he can order the sled for me through him. Are some people just ordering through the dealer? If you do this, do you still get the 3 year warranty, gift card, and bag?

No one is forcing you to buy a new Yamaha if you don't like what they offer move on to a different brand and stop complaining.

Sure I suppose but if you think a couple of guys on this site that are complaining about it is gonna change anything probably not gonna happen. See that the whole problem here is you need to go to the dealer's with these problems that's the best way to make them aware of there problems. It is pretty difficult to take new a Sidewinder or Viper to the dealer and complain about it if you don't own one. If you go out and buy something and it fails you have every right to complain about it but when you stand in the back row and yell about thing's you never have dealt with it's a cop out in my eyes. Everyone on this site know the small problems these machines have. It's not a deal breaker in my eyes it's all taken care of with some yearly maintenance. Again this is all my opinion and I surely don't want to offend anyone especially the Ski Doo trolls that hang out on Totally Yamaha.

Not complaining just want what I have and had!
