Trust me when I say that even that tiny little windshield is better than no windshield at all, I rode about 200km without one because mine was broken and I was riding to a destination where a guy was selling me a used tall windshield. My hands were very very sore for about 2 weeks afterwards, I was having trouble gripping anything, and even putting on my gloves hurt lol. What struck me is the amount of air that hits you in the chest and constantly pushes on you, you would be surprised!

klim hand muffs may not be what the cool guys use , but I went from having cold hand problems in -0 f weather to wearing summer mechanics gloves. So much more comfortable now , and enjoy the even if the temp drops off .

I have done the same. Been fighting cold hands for years. I wear thin leather motorcycle gloves under the muffs.
I dont look cool but I am over it.

Me too, anything below 5F and I put them on. Also went to a full face from a moto helmet for cold days. Life changing lol. I'm over the cool factor.

Klim heated batt operated gloves for me so I can look cool most of the time. Klim gauntlets on the really cold days when no one in their right mind is out to see me anyway.

Just got a message from my dealer. Everything should be loaded into the system by Nov 15th, he will be able to give me a pretty good delivery date at that time

Just heard that first Thundercats will be built mid Nov. So perhaps that's when next batch of Sidewinders will be built too.

Is it through that all Winders delivered so far are summer builts? I know Jon's is but what about the rest of you guys?

I pushed my dealer for a Vin # asap , and he finally gave me some answers .
Latest deliveries will be FEBRUARY !!!!!!!
Yamaha will only be filing 91 % of orders , and it will depend on which model you ordered whether you get your sled and when you ordered it !!!!
All Vipers will be a February delivery and most other models will see partial production into February.
This is a disaster to those who have no sled to ride if their new order sled doesn't arrive until February .

That doesn’t sound good, haven’t received my 22 srx yet & my 21 srx is long gone …

I think you will be ok. The SRX and LTX SE seem to be the first sled arriving at dealers.

I think it's going to be the EPS sleds that are late.

The srx doesn’t look to be on the list of sleds with the 91% delivery rate after talking with dealer , and delivery up until February do to parts supply problems. Not a great situation for buyers or the manufacturers . Polaris buddy just got notified late dec early Jan for his sled.
