Looks like it was the late orders that are getting cancelled.
So far only Canadian orders?
Jared was right when he said the earlier the order the better.
I would rather my order be cancelled now than have the delivery drag to February or March.
I guess a call to the dealer is necessary

For sale? I will buy that bag …
What dealership is that ..?So … April 6 I ordered a 2022 SRX and paid the deposit . This summer, July I believe, I got a call from a Yamaha rep confirming my order .
Checked with my Dealer in September…
My sled was in the 2nd shipment due
November.
So today I dropped in to Dealer and got flattened!! My order is CANCELED!
Reason- insufficient product. I realize every manufacturer is dealing with product shortages but this is next level. Yamaha really has dropped the ball here guys. Haven’t been notified by Yamaha about this either
Dealer is calling around trying to find me one , everyone is in same boat… cancelled orders
And some are now scheduled for February delivery!
Still processing this, thankfully I still have my trusty Apex to drive this winter.

I emailed the Yamaha factory rep that I talked too confirming my Ltx Le order in august and she replied yesterday saying my sled is in production right now . Oddly enough dealer contacted me same day saying my fxr gear bag showed up so all good signs that a sled is coming ….So … April 6 I ordered a 2022 SRX and paid the deposit . Hmmmm I’ve noticed one common denominator in all these Yamaha cancellations I‘ve read so far.. They’re all in Canada. So … April 6 I ordered a 2022 SRX and paid the deposit . This summer, July I believe, I got a call from a Yamaha rep confirming my order .

Maybe a shortage of parts for the IQS electronic shocks?

The latest I heard they are building them as they get parts in. They look at the parts they got in yesterday and decide how many they can build today. From what I hear is that the biggest shortage is the foam for the seats and the shock supply. I also heard that the GT's will be the last to be built.

I was told it’s the Yamaha engines that are the deciding factor. Yamaha can’t manufacture anymore engines.Any cancellations other than SRX ?

My SRX order was cancelled as well. Ordered on April 2nd, Yamaha rep called in late September to confirm order. Dealer called last week to deliver the news.
