They might be losing less by just selling a few then selling all they sold with price increases in material.

So I picked up my LTX-LE last night and as advertised Yamaha did NOT give me the extra $250 because it was invoiced on 12/30/21. The other thing is the sled was advertised with a "mid height" windshield on it, the one it came with is shorter than the gauge cluster!! My dealer is going to get me a windshield at no charge because he feels bad about the extra money and horrible windshield. I really wonder why Yamaha doesn't offer selection of the windshield like the other manufacturers do, it would keep customers more satisfied.

Do you have a picture of the sled? I am curious as to what windshield you got.

Definitely interested to know 1) how much bigger than the standard L-TX GT windshield it is, and 2) if it fits and any modifications you have to do to get it to fit

Definitely sympathize.... I have the garmin tread gps, dmc upper gear, and a belt removal tool just sitting around waiting for my L-TX to show up as well

I know the feeling, still waiting on my xtx and I have the TD multi map kit, clutching, cold air intake, exhaust, bov, BCA bag, shovel, linq adapter etc etc just waiting

on an LTX? unacceptable. That is not a windshield for a "high miler" that is a thong....

I agree 100%. Even the mid height is short for where I take my trips but at least it would be useful around home, this thing is USELESS. I could see it on a mountain sled that rolls over a lot but on an LTX-LE?? Yamaha needs to rethink picking out Windshields they suck at it.

This is the same windshield that came on my ZR600R-XC. I took that off immediately and installed my old Sidewinder one.
