Thanks so much for clarification on this!I just ordered some parts with Port Yamaha and asked them about receiving an e-mail from Yamaha regarding canceled orders. It was confirmed that they did receive this e-mail but it's for dealer inventory only. All pre order sleds are good. So yeah I can see a dealer being pissed about not getting anything for the show room floor.
I didn't want to be spreading improper info.

I wonder if this is going to increase or decrease or have no impact on sled quality.

No impact either way...this is no more than a supply chain issue.I wonder if this is going to increase or decrease or have no impact on sled quality.

My dealer said the same thing. They cut his stocks orders to fulfill the snocheck orders.

I think the dealers knew ahead of time they may or may not get any they ordered for showroom inventory. My dealer said to me that all spring orders were guaranteed and the sleds they had ordered for stock inventory, if available, would only be delivered late december/early january so they werent promised anything.

Hmm, this conversation seems to drive up prices on used low hours sleds like mine in preparation for my spring order sled.

I sold my 2015 Apex last week for this reason. I was going to keep it for a backup/extra sled, but $8,000 in my pocket changed that thinking.Hmm, this conversation seems to drive up prices on used low hours sleds like mine in preparation for my spring order sled.
I put it on Craigslist, and immediately had a bidding war on it. Probably could've gotten even more but I was happy with that.

Congrats on ordering a new SRX. Sweet sled, and welcome to TY!
Sounds like your new sled should arrive just in the nick of time for riding season.
