2022 Preorder build dates/delivery dates

Okay it's snowing, getting 4 " where is my freaking sled!

Just got the call from salesman (brother in law) LTX GT EPS 2nd half of February
Dealership is not given information on what exactly is the problem

Guess I’ll tough it out and ride the 2012 Vector LTX
If we get snow
I was told the same thing with mine Friday.

Maybe I’ll threaten to move into his house until my Winder shows up

Should have the Winder in a week, maybe less
LOL

Still very thankful for the return of EPS but here I am basically paying full price for a hold over sled
I wouldn’t do it if anything was known what next year will be like
The little extra on the prepaid card is ok but really a beer fart in a whirlwind

And that fart is damp.

Food for thought;

Brother in law has been at this dealership for I believe 40 years and his personal opinion is hang onto your hind end when next years pricing shows it’s ugly head

How about Jaret spouting off about the importance of ordering early

My order was March 10, the second day of SPS.
Hard to believe that all the sleds delivered thus far were ordered earlier than that

They are losing a lot of loyal Yamaha owners. A few of my friends this year who all rode Vipers switched to 2 Polaris 650's 850 and a Skidoo 850. I was one of the 850's but going to wait for my Sidewinder Gt I know I can flip one of them when we finally get snow. I am just wondering when this 100% fulfillment will be achieved by? But not holding my breathe on the Sidewinder maybe they want people to cancel because of the cost of manufacturing. Someone told me Polaris has 25,000 hours sitting with unfinished sleds in the storage lot.

Lots of us paid $500 last March to get a hold over sled a YEAR later
Yamaha officials should be ashamed of themselves

Yamaha WANTS to sell you sled. They didn't do this on purpose. No one foresaw these circumstances.
These situations are unfortunate, but all manufactures are in the same boat, go look at the Polaris forums, those guys are livid. In fact, their situation is probably, no, it is, worse.
I too am waiting on an LTX-GT. I am on the fence whether to take it or not if it comes late. The anticipated price increase tells me I should take it, even if I trade or sell it next year.
I am not going to lose sleep over things I can't control.
strange times indeed....

I know that I’m upset and probably overly emotional right now but this equates to early ordering a boat and having it show up in time for ice fishing

Be interesting to see if a new chassis appears next year with the rumoured 25 percent price increase

I think you would have seen the new chassis for 2022 because its cats 60th anniversary, but with the world in disaray they didnt want to chance a supply shortage. The new cat clutch is a compact version, which i suspect is for a narrower chassis! I bet you will see the chassis for 2 strokes, and the 4 strokes will be statos qoue, my 2 cents.
