Geez, dont let the Mack guys see this. There at each others throats and ready to kill each other and themselves on Doo site. Never seen anything like it. The forum has gone MAD and even the moderators should be banned or smacked over there. OMG the slow POS there dealing with has gotten to all of them!
Anyway, this is good speed for a stocker with that many studs in it. He must plan to tune it at some point with that many studs in I'd imagine? Great looking machine!

As much as I'd like to, if anyone even mentions they have a slow 900 or Mack or speaks about a 998, they get jumped on like rabid honey badgers now. Its like the Wild West over there right now and getting worse.

Ya, Well I have no time for RockerDan any longer. If you've seen him in action at DooQuack and knew the back stories I know, you'd understand why I feel the way I do. Thats a good place for him and they can keep him!

I also saw where one of the regulars posted that a good 600 has that much top speed(105-110) and they crucified him! "TROLL!!"

I saw his posts bashing the 998s. The best sled he has ever had, is always the current sled he has. I still like his build threads.

Agreed. I finally decided to post over there as he was really misleading people. It's almost like he is an immature kid that gets embarrassed and then lashes out to try to turn the focus to something else. Unfortunately for him the 998 has been out long enough that all the weak points have been identified and are able to be addressed. I guess all you have left is to complain about are the rivets.
That said... it's too bad. Dan is an enthusiast for our sport for sure and a knowledgeable guy that takes the time to document his findings that many of us benefit from.
Back to your regularly scheduled program...
Great speed out of a stocker for sure. Man I'm jealous of having a lake to play on like that.
I still am partial to the Yamaha Blue but I must say that 2022 SRX is a real head turner and a stock sled that runs 114mph in the 1/4 mile on pump gas and can then turn around and do a multi mile trail ride in comfort and precise handling is truly amazing.
Its funny he says that about the SW as I was thinking that about all the SkiDoos I ride with as, to me, they all look like old sleds even when they are new!
Every time we stop on a ride all the Doo riders sit on their sleds and stare at my 3 model year old Sidewinder. As I have said before...its kind of creepy.
