Trail drive to Kenosee Lake today, not a blistering pace but "kept it interesting". according to my trip meter and gas pump I got 20.7 MPG. Sled only has about 400kms on it, and I am a rather large fellow so overall I am impressed. Only mods on 06 Attack is an Excell can and fat boy spring. so far

Turk, wondering where you get your sleds from, I live on the east side of Manitoba and looking at going state side. Is it worth it?

I am using stock white at 60. No comment on sled purchases; i got too many buds that are yammie dealers up here.
I got about 11 mpg on my first tank of gas on my new 07 attak gt. Granted, I was working the throttle through the rpm range a lot, not allowing it to set or cruise at one speed for long. I talked to the dealer, and he said this would be normal for a while, and after 1,000 miles, that the motor really comes to life. Something to do with the computer letting more hp be made after 1,000 miles. HOpe it's true. anyone else hear this? He was up in Presque Isle and we rode on Monday.

It has been shown that the speedo is off about 10 mph on top end. I believe the speedo is off approx 10% all through the range. It stands to reason then that the odometer would be off 10% also? This would add to the generosity of your fuel mileage by about 10 percent.

i think my odometer is off cause i did the speedo mod, where you grind the teeth off at opposite ends, it work's cause at 100 m.p.h on my speedo is exact as the radar gun

I took my Apex in to change the CO settings. I believe they set it up stock 12.5 to 1. I'm gonna have it adjusted to 13.5 to 1. That should get me to 18-20 US Gal. I'll post my results when I have them. I never got above 16 MPG and was averaging 12 to 14. 21 MPG Thats awesome. I'll be happy with 17 to 18.

Finally someones honest. I get less than 100 miles on a tank as well (riding hard of course...is there any other way?). The people I ride with are always bummed because we gotta turn back or tow me back. Don't think you can ride 'til half and then return either, Gauge drops like a rock after half.
