Hi everyone, when i got my 17 new sidewinder i replaced with top 22 cat gear back than, but i have not yet broke in to the chaincase to check and or change out to newer one with predrilled weep holes, and i cant find any info on that gear part number, can anyone help with the gear. Thanks.

Cat # 1702-491 with holes....

The oil holes are the updated part. So who knows.

I think the holes actually shorten the life of the bushing.
I suppose it could be possible,i wont know for sure till we break into it,will let all know.

I ran one season with no holes and bushing lasted 3000km
Then I ran one with holes and it only lasted 3000km
I am trying a different bushing that guys i know are having luck with!! Hopefully this one lasts me a full season....lol

Holes, no holes doesn't seem to matter much same bushing same material on stock gears.
