just came back from a 130 mile ride, the vec hit a personal best of 25 mpg cdn, very impressed with that, all my clutching is factory set up plus i added the slp antiwear pads to the track,no hard take offs and we were riding about 50 mph avg,i screwed up my belt by pulling a sleigh earlier in the season so i had a brand new belt on,a phazer belt,it fits perfectly on all 4 strokes and its cheaper,my wifes phazer hit 24 mpg,i never thought i would beat her cuz last year she was smoking me on gas with my warrior, wonder if the belt could contribute to better gas mileage,i know the slp kit is said to improve mpg, anyway i was quite pleased with the results,we had 2 other sleds with us,a 09 z1 non turbo and a 660 non turbo, they took 4 litres more both sleds combined than the yammis

Thats great MPG, the wifes rage will get 19.5 on avg. while my vector and MY thumb will get 19 typicly.
Were the trails hardpacked for the most part?

If your group was near empty when you all filled up, I'd say those Cats did real well on MPG also, only taking roughly a 1/2 gal. each more than you.

What are SLP anti wear pads? How do they work? where can you get them?
it goes where the hole is closed on the track,in total, there are 40 closed hole, this increases hyfax life quite a bit and reduces friction between slider and track

so converted to US gallons , your MPG's would be a little lower, correct?
US gallon = 128 fl. oz.
Canadian gallon = 160 fl. oz.
128 in to 160 = 1.25
160 in to 128 = .8
Convert Can. mileage to US , multiply by .8
Convert US mileage to Can., multiply by 1.25
Hope this helps
25 x . 8 = 20
